On the morning of 18 October 2026 we ran this exact search from Hyderabad and read every result on page one. An AI Overview, two sponsored places, a map pack of local institutes, a People Also Ask box of four questions and nine organic results. Then we opened each institute page and wrote down four things: how many hours of teaching it promises, what it charges, who awards the certificate at the end, and how far the syllabus goes.
Not one of the nine published all four. The result ranking first for the whole country publishes none of them.
That is the real problem with choosing a data science course in Hyderabad. There is no shortage of options and no shortage of five-star badges. What is missing is the handful of facts you would need to compare two of them honestly. This guide supplies those facts, says where each one came from, and gives you a method you can apply to any institute on that page, including ours.
How do you choose the best data science course in Hyderabad?
Choose a data science course in Hyderabad on four published facts: the taught-hour count, the fee printed beside those hours, who actually awards the certificate, and whether the syllabus reaches deep learning and large language models. Of the nine institutes ranking for this phrase on 18 October 2026, not one publishes all four.
Everything else on those pages is decoration. A 4.9-star widget counting 31,245 reviews site-wide tells you nothing about the batch you would sit in. A list of hiring-partner logos tells you nothing about whether those companies interviewed anybody from your course. The four facts above are checkable before you pay, and they are what the rest of this page is about.
What does page one of Google actually tell you about Hyderabad data science courses?
Page one for “data science course in Hyderabad” returns an AI Overview, a sponsored block, a local map pack and nine organic results, and the top organic result publishes no duration, no hour count and no fee at all. NareshIT's page displays a 4.98 rating from 500 ratings instead.
| Page-one institute | Teaching time published | Fee published | Certificate named |
|---|---|---|---|
| NareshIT (organic #1) | None | None | None |
| Codegnan | “1-month intensive” and “300+ hours”; FAQ says 6 months, another says 100 days | Rs 65,000, from Rs 1,00,000 | Own certificate |
| Innomatics Research Labs | 200+ hours; no month count | None | NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime; TIH at IIT Bombay for eligible learners |
| StarAgile | 148 hours live, over 6 months | None | Microsoft plus StarAgile |
| 360DigiTMG | 6 months, 600+ training hours per its snippet | Rs 47,500 to Rs 67,600 per Google's AI Overview | SUNY and NASSCOM |
| ExcelR | 6 months per the AI Overview | None | IIT Madras Pravartak |
| IIIT Hyderabad | 2 years, 8 terms, 80 credits | Rs 4,00,000 + GST | UGC-entitled MSc from IIIT Hyderabad |
Read that table once and the shape of the market is obvious. The institutes that tell you how long they teach do not tell you what it costs. The ones that quote a price do not tell you how many hours you get for it. Only the university degree does both, and it is a different product at a different price.
How much does a data science course cost in Hyderabad?
Google's own AI Overview for this query puts a standard Hyderabad data science training programme between Rs 45,000 and Rs 1,20,000, falling to Rs 25,000 for basic online certifications and rising past Rs 1,50,000 for university-backed postgraduate programmes. Codegnan publishes Rs 65,000, discounted from Rs 1,00,000, read on 18 October 2026.
Those are third-party market figures and they move. The useful thing about them is not the midpoint but the width: the same phrase, in the same city, covers a Rs 25,000 recorded-video certificate and a Rs 1,50,000 university programme. Nobody choosing between them is comparing like with like, and a headline discount of Rs 35,000 means nothing until you know how many hours sit behind it.
AimNxt does not publish fees in its blog posts and this page is no exception. What a trainer will do in a Free Live Demo Session is open the syllabus, tell you the batch length in hours, and let you do the arithmetic below on us as readily as on anyone else.
Why does the taught-hour count matter more than the number of months?
A month means nothing without an hour count: StarAgile publishes 148 hours of live instructor-led training inside a six-month course, while Innomatics publishes 200-plus hours with no duration at all. Neither prints a fee beside its hours, so on 18 October 2026 neither cost per taught hour could be calculated.
Months measure the calendar. Hours measure the teaching. A six-month course at two hours a week is 48 hours; a four-month course at ten hours a week is 160. Both are advertised the same way, and the second one is three times the training. Codegnan's page manages to describe the same programme as a one-month intensive, a six-month programme and a hundred days in three different places, which is a fair illustration of how little the month figure is doing.
So ask for the hour count, then divide. A course charging Rs 60,000 for 150 live hours is Rs 400 an hour. The same fee for 40 hours is Rs 1,500 an hour. That single number does more to separate Hyderabad institutes than any badge on the page, and almost nobody makes it easy to work out.
Whose certificate do you actually receive?
Most Hyderabad institutes front a certificate somebody else awards: NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime, TIH at IIT Bombay, IIT Madras Pravartak, SUNY or Microsoft. FutureSkills Prime is a joint nasscom and MeitY initiative, and its certification is earned by passing its own assessments, not by attending a partner institute's classes.
This matters because the wording on a course page is often doing quiet work. “NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime certified course” means the programme is aligned to that scheme, whose content is mapped to National Occupational Standards and the National Skills Qualification Framework; the certificate still comes from the scheme once you clear its assessment. Innomatics is explicit that the TIH at IIT Bombay certification applies to “eligible learners” against criteria, which is honest, and worth reading before you assume you are one of them.
AimNxt's position on this is deliberately plain. You receive an AimNxt certificate of completion. Cisco, EC-Council, CompTIA, Microsoft and the IIT-linked foundations are the certification bodies for their own credentials; AimNxt is an independent training provider that prepares you for them and does not administer anybody else's examination. If a Hyderabad institute implies the institute itself awards an IIT or a NASSCOM credential, ask which body signs it and what the assessment is.
Work out what an institute is really charging per taught hour
Enter the fee and the taught-hour count an institute publishes, answer three disclosure questions, and the checker below returns the real cost per taught hour plus a disclosure score out of five. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is stored, sent or compared against any figure you have not typed.
This is arithmetic on figures you type in, plus a disclosure count. It is not a rating of any institute, not advice to enrol or to avoid any provider, and it makes no claim about teaching quality, outcomes or salary.
What should a data science syllabus in Hyderabad actually cover?
A data science syllabus worth paying for runs from Python and SQL through statistics and visualisation into supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, computer vision, NLP and large language models, finishing on a project. The AimNxt Data Science course content lists exactly twelve blocks in that order, ending with a three-week capstone.
1. Python + SQL
Python tuples, loops, lambda functions, classes, SQL basics, stored procs. The block the entry-level Hyderabad adverts actually screen on.
2. Stats
Basic stats, covariance analysis methods, eigen values and eigen vectors, EDA. The technical round lives here.
3. Data Visualization
Data visualization principles, chart types and usages, Tableau. This is the block that makes you hireable as an analyst first.
4. Supervised Learning
Introduction to ML, regression, KNNs, SVMs, Naive Bayes, DT and others.
5. unSupervised Learning
PCA, clustering, market basket analysis, cross validation, hyper parameter tuning.
6. Catch up Session / Doubt Clearing
A scheduled catch-up block, not an add-on. It sits where most learners first fall behind.
7. Deep Learning
Deep learning concepts, neural networks, types, predictive analytics using neural networks, CNN.
8. Computer Vision
Concepts, OpenCV, transfer learning, Keras and TensorFlow.
9. NLP
Vectorization, embeddings, encoders and decoders, RNNs, transformers.
10. LLMs and ChatGPT
Introduction to LLMs, prompt engineering and best practices with industry use cases.
11. Catch up Session / Doubt Clearing
A second scheduled catch-up block before the capstone.
12. Capstone 3 Weeks
Three weeks on one reviewed project — the artefact you walk an interviewer through.
Module names and order above are quoted from the AimNxt Technologies LLP Data Science course content, which also states a typical classroom duration of four to six months and prerequisites of basic mathematics, statistics and programming concepts, with Python familiarity recommended. If you want the sequence marked against your own background, the Data Science course at AimNxt's KPHB campus in Kukatpally runs classroom, live online or hybrid, and a trainer will go through the twelve blocks with you in a Free Live Demo Session. Blocks 7 to 10 are the ones to check hardest at any institute, because they are the first thing a short programme drops.
Can you learn data science in 3 months?
Three months is enough to become employable in Python, SQL, statistics and classical machine learning, but not enough to also cover deep learning, computer vision, NLP and large language models properly. The AimNxt Data Science course content puts its classroom programme at four to six months for that reason.
The honest version of the three-month answer depends on what you want at the end of it. If you want a first job in a Hyderabad reporting or analyst role, three focused months on blocks 1 to 3 plus one reviewed project is a realistic plan, and the job data further down says that is the likelier first title anyway. If you want to be read for roles with GenAI, LLM or RAG in the title, that is blocks 7 to 10, and nobody teaches those properly in twelve weeks on top of the basics.
Be wary of the compression in the other direction too. A page advertising 300 hours inside a one-month intensive is asking for roughly ten hours a day, every day, which is possible for a full-time student and impossible for someone working.
Should you take a degree instead of a training programme?
Hyderabad offers both routes: IIIT Hyderabad runs a UGC-entitled online MSc in Data Science over two years for Rs 4,00,000 plus GST, against training programmes of three to six months at Rs 25,000 to Rs 1,50,000. The degree expects prior programming, calculus, linear algebra and probability.
They solve different problems. The MSc is 80 credits across 16 courses with proctored online examinations and an admissions committee, and it gives you a recognised postgraduate qualification. A training programme gives you working code, a portfolio and a route into interviews in months rather than years, with no entrance process. If you already have an engineering degree and need to get into the market this year, the training route is the sensible one. If you want the academic credential and can fund two years alongside work, the degree is real and local.
What the degree does usefully, for anyone comparing, is publish its prerequisites plainly. If calculus, linear algebra and probability are listed as an entry condition for a postgraduate programme, treat any three-month course promising to take you from zero to data scientist with appropriate suspicion.

What does the Hyderabad data science job market actually ask for?
Naukri listed 3,766 data scientist vacancies for Hyderabad and Secunderabad on 18 October 2026, of which 64 were open to candidates with zero years of experience and 558 to candidates with two years. Two countable years multiplies the openings you can apply to by roughly nine.
| Naukri experience filter, Hyderabad and Secunderabad | Data scientist vacancies | Share of the 3,766 total |
|---|---|---|
| 0 years | 64 | 1.7% |
| 2 years | 558 | 14.8% |
| All experience levels | 3,766 | 100% |
That is the single most important number on this page for anyone about to pay for a course, and no institute page mentions it. Hyderabad is a large data market — nearly four thousand live adverts for one title — but the door at zero years is narrow. A course does not widen it. Countable work does.
Which is an argument for a specific plan rather than a discouraging one: take the first data job you can get, even if the title is modest, and let the clock start. The step from no experience to two years is worth more than any second certificate.
Will your first job really be called data scientist?
Probably not. Naukri showed 169 Hyderabad data analyst vacancies open to zero years on 18 October 2026, against 64 data scientist vacancies on the same filter, roughly two and a half times as many doors. Most Hyderabad data careers start on a reporting or analyst title.
This is worth knowing before you choose a course, because it changes what you should optimise for. The first three blocks of any serious syllabus — Python and SQL, statistics, visualisation — are exactly what an analyst advert screens on, and they are the blocks you will use in month one of the job. Deep learning is what gets you promoted later, not hired now.
If the analyst route is where you are actually heading, the Data Analyst course in Hyderabad is the shorter, more direct version of the same first three blocks, and plenty of our students move across into the data science programme once they are earning. There is no shame in entering the market sideways; nearly everyone does.
Which institute is best for data science in Hyderabad?
No honest answer names one institute, because the pages that do are either institutes rating themselves or unsourced top-ten lists. A better method is to score any Hyderabad institute on five published facts — taught hours, fee per hour, awarding body, syllabus depth and the exact wording of its jobs promise — before you pay.
Five questions to ask before you pay any Hyderabad institute
Scored on our own five: AimNxt publishes the twelve module blocks above in full and will state the batch hours on request; it issues an AimNxt certificate of completion and claims no vendor credential; the syllabus runs through deep learning, computer vision, NLP and LLMs; and the jobs wording is the AimNxt Job Interview Guarantee program, which means guaranteed interview opportunities through the 110-plus hiring partner network, not a guaranteed job and not a guaranteed salary. Fees are discussed in the demo rather than published here. That is four of five answered on the page and the fifth answered in a conversation, which is the standard we are asking you to hold everyone to.
What does KPHB and Kukatpally mean for a classroom learner?
KPHB 5th Phase in Kukatpally sits on the Metro Red Line and inside the JNTU-Kukatpally student belt, which makes weekday evening classroom batches realistic for people already working in Madhapur, Gachibowli or HITEC City. AimNxt's campus is on Brand Factory Road, opposite PVR Nexus Mall.
Location matters more than it sounds for a four-to-six-month programme. Data science is not a subject you can miss three weeks of and catch up on from recordings; blocks 4, 5 and 7 build on each other directly, which is why the syllabus has two scheduled catch-up blocks in it. A campus you can reach after work without crossing the city is the difference between finishing the course and quietly dropping out in month three.
For outstation learners and anyone commuting from the other side of Hyderabad, the same programme runs live online and hybrid, with the same trainer and the same twelve blocks. The capstone is reviewed either way.
Is data science a tough course?
Data science is hard in a specific way: the mathematics is undergraduate level, but you have to hold statistics, programming and business reasoning at once. The AimNxt Data Science course content asks for basic mathematics, statistics and programming concepts before you start, with Python familiarity recommended rather than required.
In practice, the people who struggle are rarely the ones who find the maths hard. They are the ones who treat it as a video course. Writing code that runs, breaking it, and being made to explain why a model behaves the way it does is the whole job, and it is why a reviewed capstone project is worth more at an interview than any certificate. If you are starting from a non-technical degree, expect the first two blocks to take real evening hours and plan for them honestly.
If you want the ground-level version before committing, read what data science actually is and how it differs from machine learning first. Both are short, and both will tell you fairly quickly whether this is the work you want to do.
