On 19 October 2026 we read the Hyderabad pages ranking for this phrase and asked one question of each syllabus: where does it start, and where does it stop?
The answers were remarkably consistent. They start at prompting. They stop at retrieval-augmented generation, or at a demo app. Almost none of them teach the Python, the API design or the deployment work that sits on either side of the generative bit, which is most of what the job turns out to be once you are in it.
That gap is the whole reason this page exists. Below are the nine phases AimNxt publishes, in order, with the names taken straight from the course document. Where we quote a competitor, a fee or a salary, the source and the date it was read are listed at the bottom so you can check them yourself.
What should a Gen AI course in Hyderabad actually teach you?
A Gen AI course in Hyderabad is worth paying for only if its syllabus starts before generative AI and continues after it: Python and machine learning first, then retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning and agentic AI. The AimNxt Gen AI + Agentic AI with Python programme runs nine phases across 24 to 26 weeks.
Prompt engineering is a week of the work, not a career. What employers in Hyderabad are hiring for is someone who can stand up a FastAPI service, chunk and embed a document set, wire it to a vector store, measure whether the answers are grounded, and then keep the thing running without burning the token budget. Every one of those is ordinary software engineering with a model in the middle.
What does page one for a Gen AI course in Hyderabad actually publish?
Of the Hyderabad Gen AI pages read on 19 October 2026, only two published both a fee and an hour count, and two contradicted their own module count on the same page. School of Core AI publishes 200-plus hours at Rs 64,999 but gives no Hyderabad address at all.
| Page read 19 Oct 2026 | Length | Fee published | Modules | Mode |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Brolly Academy | 3 months | Rs 14,999 / 35,000 / 40,000 | 16 | Classroom + online |
| School of Core AI | 6 months, 200+ hrs | Rs 64,999 + taxes | 12 in 4 phases | Live online, no address given |
| Edureka | 4–6 months, 150+ hrs | Not read | 5 courses; its own FAQ also says 7 and 8 | Online; H1 is not city-specific |
| IIIT Hyderabad (DFL) | 12 weeks, ~12 hrs/week | Rs 90,000 + GST | 4 | Live online + campus immersion |
| upGrad offline centres | 3 months | None — “Upto 50%*” only | 4 in one table, 6 in another | “100% classroom” vs online core |
Two things fall out of that table. The most technically detailed programmes are the ones with no Hyderabad classroom behind them, and the ones selling a classroom are the vaguest about what is in it. Nobody is wrong to be online. But a page that cannot keep its own module count straight across two tables is asking you to decide on trust alone.
How long does a Gen AI course in Hyderabad take?
Published Hyderabad Gen AI course lengths ran from 12 weeks to six months when read on 19 October 2026, and the AimNxt Gen AI + Agentic AI with Python programme publishes a 24 to 26 week weekly time grid. IIIT Hyderabad runs 12 weeks at roughly 12 hours each week.
The spread is not really about pace. It is about scope. A twelve-week programme that assumes you already write Python and already know what a gradient is can reach agents quickly, which is exactly why IIIT Hyderabad asks for basic coding and basic mathematics up front and prefers a year of work experience. A three-month course sold to anyone with a degree is covering far less ground than its brochure implies.
AimNxt's grid is published week by week: one week of setup, three on Python, three on data structures and system design, three on machine learning, five on generative AI, two on fine-tuning, four on agentic AI, three on MLOps, and two to three on the capstone. If you are weighing Hyderabad against another city first, our comparison of Gen AI training in Hyderabad and Bangalore covers that question on its own.
What does the AimNxt Gen AI and Agentic AI syllabus cover?
The AimNxt Gen AI + Agentic AI with Python course content lists nine phases: Setup & Toolchain, Python Foundations, Data Structures, Algorithms & System Design, ML/AI Foundations, Generative AI with Azure AI Foundry, Fine-Tuning & Optimization, Agentic AI, MLOps and a Capstone. Phase names are quoted from that document.

Phase names, ordering and week counts above are quoted from the AimNxt Technologies LLP Gen AI + Agentic AI with Python course content, which also publishes a tech stack, an assessment rubric and a weekly time grid totalling 24 to 26 weeks. If you want the sequence marked against your own background, the Generative AI and Agentic AI training programme at AimNxt's KPHB campus in Kukatpally runs classroom, live online or hybrid, and a trainer will walk the nine phases with you in a Free Live Demo Session. Phases 5 to 8 are the ones to check hardest anywhere you compare, because they are the first thing a short course drops.
Can a fresher or a non-IT professional learn generative AI?
Yes, but only on a course that teaches Python before it teaches prompting: generative AI work is software engineering, and the AimNxt programme spends its first three phases, roughly nine weeks, on Python, data structures and machine learning foundations. IIIT Hyderabad also requires basic coding and basic mathematics.
Be careful with the pages that say a degree in any stream is enough and that familiarity with Python is merely helpful, then teach LoRA adapters in week six. Both statements can be true on the same page and still leave you lost. The honest version is that you do not need Python on day one, but you do need to be willing to write it badly for a month before it clicks.
If your interest is closer to modelling and analysis than to shipping services, the Data Science course in Hyderabad is the better fit and covers deep learning, NLP and LLMs from a different direction; our explainer on data science versus machine learning sets out that split. Nothing stops you doing both, but doing the wrong one first wastes a few months.
Work out which phase you would actually start from
Answer four questions about your Python, your mathematics, your machine learning exposure and your weekly study time, and the checker below names the AimNxt phase you would be comfortable starting from and what to revise first. It runs entirely in your browser and stores nothing.
This maps your own four answers onto the published phase order. It is not an assessment, not an admission decision, and it makes no claim about outcomes, jobs or salary. A trainer in a Free Live Demo Session will go through the same thing properly.

What is the difference between generative AI and agentic AI?
Generative AI produces content from a prompt; agentic AI plans a task, calls tools, keeps memory and acts across several steps before returning. The AimNxt syllabus separates them: Phase 4 covers generative AI and retrieval-augmented generation over four to five weeks, and Phase 6 covers Agentic AI in Python over four weeks.
The practical difference is what can go wrong. A generative app returns a bad paragraph and you regenerate it. An agent with tool access can query a database, open a ticket and email somebody before you notice it misread the instruction. That is why Phase 6 spends time on tool authorization, rate limits, sandboxing and human-in-the-loop review rather than only on frameworks.
Hyderabad job adverts have started asking for both in one line, which is partly why courses here advertise both words. Worth checking whether a syllabus actually has a separate agentic block or just a final module called Agentic AI Introduction.
Which tools and cloud platform will you actually use?
The AimNxt Gen AI course tech stack is Python 3.11-plus with FastAPI and pydantic, the openai and Azure SDKs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, FAISS, MLflow, Docker, and Azure AI Search for vector storage. Microsoft has renamed Azure AI Foundry to Microsoft Foundry, so expect both names in current documentation.
Being Azure-native is a real choice with a trade-off, and it is worth understanding before you enrol. It matches how a large share of Hyderabad's enterprise and GCC employers already build, and it means Managed Identity, Key Vault and Container Apps are taught as part of the work rather than left as homework. It also means you learn one cloud deeply instead of three shallowly.
The naming churn is its own small lesson. Microsoft's own documentation records the path from Azure AI Studio to Azure AI Foundry to Microsoft Foundry, with Azure AI Services now called Foundry Tools. Anything in this field that is written down goes stale in months, which is an argument for learning the underlying engineering rather than a tool tour.
What certification does a Gen AI course prepare you for?
The AimNxt Gen AI course content lists AI-900 under Certifications, and Microsoft has since renumbered that exam: the Azure AI Fundamentals certification page was updated on 15 April 2026 and now points at exam AI-901. AimNxt issues its own certificate of completion; Microsoft awards the certification.
Checked on 19 October 2026, the official Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals page describes AI-901 as covering AI workloads, machine learning principles on Azure, computer vision, natural language processing and generative AI workloads, for a candidate at the start of an AI career. Not one Hyderabad course page we read mentioned the new code.
Be clear about who awards what. Microsoft, Cisco, EC-Council and CompTIA are the certification bodies for their own credentials. AimNxt is an independent training provider that prepares you for those exams and does not administer anybody else's examination. If a course page implies the institute itself awards a vendor credential, ask which body signs it.
What do generative AI and AI engineering roles pay in India?
AmbitionBox reports an AI Engineer salary range of Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 27.5 lakh a year in India across zero to six years, from about 1,700 reported salaries, with freshers at Rs 3 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. These are market estimates, not guarantees.
Read the width rather than the midpoint. A range that runs from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 20 lakh at zero years is not describing one job; it is describing a support role and a research-adjacent engineering role that happen to share a title. What moves you up that range is demonstrable work, which is the argument for a capstone you can open and defend rather than a certificate you can only show.
How to read any salary figure on a course page
Salary figures on this page come from AmbitionBox's AI Engineer profile, read 19 October 2026 and last updated there on 19 June 2025; its AI/ML Engineer figures for the software product industry show Rs 3.6 lakh to Rs 45 lakh across zero to six years, updated 2 August 2025. They are self-reported market estimates that depend on experience, employer, city and interview performance. AimNxt does not guarantee any salary and neither should anyone else.
Why does a KPHB, Kukatpally classroom matter for a Gen AI course?
Because the two most technically detailed Gen AI programmes on this search are live-online only with no Hyderabad address, while AimNxt teaches from a KPHB 5th Phase, Kukatpally campus, with online and hybrid batches alongside. A twenty-six week course is where a room you can walk into starts to matter.
Online is fine for a twelve-week sprint with experienced engineers in it. Over six months, with a cohort that includes people writing their first class in Phase 1, the thing that keeps people from quietly dropping out in Phase 3 is sitting next to someone and asking a question out loud. KPHB 5th Phase is a short walk from the metro and the main Kukatpally bus routes, which is the whole reason weekday-evening batches work for people already in a job.
If you cannot get to Kukatpally, take the live online option rather than a recorded one, and ask what happens when you fall behind. AimNxt runs classroom, live online and hybrid batches on the same syllabus.
