Asking what a VAPT course costs in Hyderabad should be a five-minute job. It is not, and the reason is simple: most institutes will not tell you.
We read the whole of Google’s first page for “vapt course fees in hyderabad” from India on 27 September 2026. Nine providers. Four of them publish no number anywhere on the page. One says, in writing, to ask before visiting. Three publish a figure with a line through the old price next to it. And the depth leader, a page running roughly 45,000 words, was still advertising a “next batch” date of 25 May 2026 — four months stale on the day we read it.
Not one of the nine does the thing that actually matters, which is to put the training fee next to the certification exam fee. That omission is why so many people budget ₹35,000 for “VAPT” and then discover the exam they were aiming at costs three to five times the course. This page fixes that. Every figure below is dated, sourced, and was read on the day of publication.
How Much Does a VAPT Course Cost in Hyderabad in 2026?
Published VAPT and ethical hacking course fees in Hyderabad run from ₹9,999 for recorded video access to ₹45,000 for classroom training, with ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 the common live-training band. Those are the nine providers’ own published figures, read on 27 September 2026. Certification exams are charged separately and cost far more.
Two things make that range less useful than it looks. First, almost nobody states how many live instructor hours the fee buys, so the numbers are not comparable. Second, almost nobody states whether 18% GST is on top. Both are fixable by asking one question each, and we have put those questions in a checklist further down.
The number that gets left out: on 27 September 2026 the CEH exam voucher was listed at US$1,199 on the EC-Council store — about ₹1.15 lakh at ₹95.78 to the dollar. That single voucher costs more than every Hyderabad training fee on this page put together. No Hyderabad fees page we read mentions it.
What Are Hyderabad Institutes Actually Charging Right Now?
Of the nine Hyderabad VAPT providers we checked on 27 September 2026, only three publish a course fee on the page: Brolly Academy at ₹9,999 to ₹32,000, Hacker School at ₹12,000 plus GST, and Nexson IT Academy at a flat ₹35,000. Four publish no number at all, and one tells you to ask before visiting.
Here is the full read, with each provider’s own wording. Nothing here is an estimate.
| Provider (read 27 Sep 2026) | Published fee | Advertised duration / hours | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brolly Academy | ₹9,999 recordings · ₹25,000 online · ₹32,000 classroom | 2–3 months | Each price shown struck through from ₹14,999 / ₹35,000 / ₹45,000. “Easy EMI”. No hour count. Batch date on page still read 25 May 2026. |
| Nexson IT Academy | ₹35,000 flat, “no EMI” | 6 weeks · 60+ hands-on hours | The only provider that publishes a fee and an hour count in the same place. |
| Hacker School | ₹12,000 + GST | 72+ hours instructor-led | The only page that states GST separately rather than leaving it ambiguous. |
| WebAsha (VAPT with AI) | Not published | 100 hours · 2 months | Site-wide rating widget shows 4.9 from 48,765 reviews. No publish or update date on the page. |
| WebAsha (courses page) | Not published | 40 hours | Batch dates genuinely fresh (28 Sep, 3, 5, 10, 12 Oct 2026). Directs you to the enquiry form for fees. |
| Code Zen Eduversity | Not published | 90 days · “100+ hours” | Page title labels itself the “# 1” penetration testing course. Lists only third-party exam costs. |
| CyberSecurityTrain | Not published | Not stated | States plainly: “Ask for current fees before visiting.” |
| Eclasess | Not published | 7 modules | Seven modules against the 15 in the AimNxt curriculum below — scope matters more than price here. |
| UrbanPro (tutor marketplace) | ₹360–₹1,400 per hour, average ₹500 | Per-hour tutoring | Packages listed at ₹4,800–₹7,200 for 12 one-to-one classes, ₹3,840–₹5,760 in a group. |
A struck-through price is not a discount
Three of the published figures appear as a crossed-out higher number beside a lower one. That higher number has no independent existence — it is not a price anyone was charged last month. Judge the fee you would actually pay against the hours you would actually get, and ignore the theatre.
What Does a VAPT Course Cost Per Instructor Hour?
Only two Hyderabad providers publish both a fee and an hour count, and per instructor hour they differ by roughly 3.5 times: Hacker School works out at about ₹167 an hour for 72-plus hours at ₹12,000, and Nexson IT Academy at about ₹583 an hour for 60-plus hours at ₹35,000. Everyone else publishes one number or neither.
That gap is the whole argument about VAPT fees in one line. It is not a story about one institute being greedy and another being generous; it is a story about nobody being asked to show the arithmetic. Add GST to the Hacker School figure and it becomes roughly ₹197 an hour. Nexson’s page does not say whether its ₹35,000 is inclusive.
| Per-hour arithmetic | Fee | Hours published | Cost per hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hacker School | ₹12,000 + GST | 72+ | ~₹167 (~₹197 with 18% GST) |
| Nexson IT Academy | ₹35,000 | 60+ | ~₹583 |
| UrbanPro tutors (average) | — | Billed hourly | ₹500 stated average, ₹360–₹1,400 range |
| Brolly Academy (classroom) | ₹32,000 | None published | Cannot be calculated |
| WebAsha, Code Zen, CyberSecurityTrain, Eclasess | None published | 40–100 (where stated) | Cannot be calculated |
What Does the VAPT Course Fee Not Include?
A Hyderabad VAPT course fee normally covers live sessions, lab access during the course and a completion certificate — it almost never covers the certification exam, GST, exam retakes, or lab subscriptions after the batch ends. Only one of the nine providers we read states GST separately, and none prices a retake.
None of that is dishonest in itself. The certification body bills the exam, not the institute, so an institute genuinely cannot bundle it unless it buys vouchers. The problem is silence: a fee page that lists neither the exclusion nor the number leaves you to discover it after paying.
The certification exam
Billed by EC-Council, OffSec, INE or CompTIA directly. Usually the largest single cost in the whole plan.
18% GST
Commercial training attracts GST. ₹35,000 quoted exclusive is ₹41,300 paid. Ask which one you were shown.
Exam retakes
A failed attempt means buying a fresh voucher at full price unless the vendor plan included a second attempt.
Lab access after the batch
Practice platforms and cloud ranges are usually subscriptions. Ask what happens to your access the week the course ends.
How Much Does It Cost to Get VAPT Certified?
The exam, not the training, is usually the biggest line item: on 27 September 2026 the CEH exam voucher was listed at US$1,199 on the EC-Council store, and OffSec’s course-and-certification bundle covering OSCP at US$1,749 — roughly ₹1.15 lakh and ₹1.68 lakh at ₹95.78 to the dollar. No Hyderabad fees page mentions either figure.
We also caught something worth knowing if you are working from an older guide. OffSec has raised its prices since we last read them on 22 September 2026: the course-and-certification bundle moved from US$1,649 to US$1,749, Learn One from US$2,599 to US$2,749, and a new CyberCore tier appeared at US$899. Any article quoting last week’s numbers is already wrong.
| Certification route | Listed price (27 Sep 2026) | Approx. ₹ at 95.78/USD | What it includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| CEH exam voucher (Pearson VUE) | US$1,199 | ~₹1,14,800 | One exam attempt. Voucher valid one year, non-transferable. Self-study candidates must apply for eligibility first. |
| OffSec Course + Cert Bundle (OSCP route) | US$1,749 | ~₹1,67,500 | 90 days of course and lab access, one exam attempt. |
| OffSec Learn One | US$2,749 / year | ~₹2,63,300 | One year of access to one 200- or 300-level course, its labs, two exam attempts. |
| OffSec CyberCore | US$899 | ~₹86,100 | One year of access to a 100-level course, its labs, two exam attempts. New tier. |
Ask for the fee in writing, with the hours next to it
Bring this page to a Free Live Demo Session at KPHB or online. Ask for the total inclusive of GST, the live instructor hour count, and whether any exam voucher is bundled. Sixty minutes, no payment.
How Do You Get a VAPT Certification?
There is no exam anywhere called VAPT — you certify through a named vendor exam instead, most commonly CEH, OSCP, eJPT or PNPT, and a training institute prepares you for one of those. EC-Council and OffSec are the certification bodies; a Hyderabad institute issues only its own certificate of completion.
This matters for your budget because the phrase “VAPT certification” on an institute’s page can mean two completely different things: a course completion certificate printed by the institute, or preparation for a vendor exam you buy separately. The first is included in the fee. The second is not. We worked through the four realistic exam routes and what each one suits in our guide to the best VAPT certifications for 2026.
Is There a Free VAPT Course?
Yes, free VAPT learning exists and it is genuinely good — TryHackMe and Hack The Box free tiers, OWASP documentation, DVWA and Metasploitable, and Nessus Essentials for five IP addresses — but none of it gives you a trainer, a reviewed report, or an interview. Free covers the tools, not the feedback.
Be clear-eyed about what you are paying for when you do pay. You are not buying access to Nmap; that is free and always was. You are buying someone experienced watching how you approach a target, telling you your enumeration was lazy, and marking up the report you wrote. If a paid course does not include a reviewed written report, you are paying for a video you could have found.
What you can genuinely learn at zero cost
What Actually Makes One VAPT Course Cost More Than Another?
Four things move the price honestly: live instructor hours, whether the lab is a shared cloud range or a real isolated environment, how much of the trainer’s time goes into reviewing your written findings, and whether a certification exam voucher is bundled. Everything else — EMI offers, struck-through discounts, review widgets — is presentation, not cost.
Report review is the one people underestimate. Marking up a trainee’s 20-page penetration test report properly takes an experienced tester an hour or more per student per iteration, and it is the part of the job a client actually sees. That is why the VAPT & Ethical Hacking programme at AimNxt keeps Report Writing & Professional Skills as a full module rather than a closing lecture, and ends on a capstone engagement you write up and present. If a cheaper course never reads your writing, the saving is real but so is the gap.
Who is in the room
A working tester’s time costs more than a video playback operator’s. Ask who teaches your batch, by name, and what they test for a living.
What the lab really is
A shared browser-based range is cheap to run. An isolated environment where you can break Active Directory and rebuild it is not.
Whether writing is marked
Reviewed reports are the most expensive thing a course can offer and the most valuable in an interview. Ask how many you will submit.
Whether a voucher is inside
A bundled exam voucher can add a lakh or more to a fee legitimately. An unbundled one can make a cheap course expensive later.
What Is the Average Salary for a VAPT Engineer in India?
AmbitionBox puts the typical Penetration Tester salary in India at ₹9.8 lakh to ₹10.8 lakh a year at one to six years of experience, from 1,300 self-reported salaries updated 24 September 2026, but its Hyderabad figure is lower at ₹7.2 lakh to ₹8.3 lakh. These are market estimates, not guarantees.
Read that gap honestly rather than quoting the bigger number. AmbitionBox is self-reported, so it skews towards people willing to report a good salary, and its national “typical” band sits above its own Hyderabad band of ₹7.2–8.3 lakh from 207 salaries. Bengaluru reads ₹10.7–12.1 lakh from 292 salaries. At one to three years, the site’s top-decile figure is ₹6.6–7.3 lakh — which tells you the early years are nothing like the headline.
| AmbitionBox, Penetration Tester (read 27 Sep 2026) | Reported band | Sample |
|---|---|---|
| India, 1–6 years — typical range | ₹9.8–10.8 L/yr high confidence | 1,300 salaries |
| Hyderabad | ₹7.2–8.3 L/yr | 207 salaries |
| Bengaluru | ₹10.7–12.1 L/yr | 292 salaries |
| 1–3 years — top 10% earn | ₹6.6–7.3 L/yr | 603 salaries |
| 3–6 years — top 10% earn | ₹10.6–11.7 L/yr | 609 salaries |
Is a Paid VAPT Course Worth It for a Fresher in Hyderabad?
Honestly, only if you treat the fee as buying feedback rather than a job: on 27 September 2026 Naukri showed 537 VAPT-matching listings in Hyderabad but just 26 open to zero years, of which only seven sat in IT and Information Security and four were unpaid internships. At three years, 63 security listings were open.
We ran the same search three ways on the same day so the comparison is clean. Across all experience levels, 537 listings matched “VAPT” in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, 201 of them inside IT & Information Security — the rest are keyword noise, including a large block of retail sales roles that match on the word “penetration”. Filter to zero years and the genuine security funnel collapses to seven. Filter to three years and it is 63. That is a ninefold widening for three countable years of work.
| Naukri, Hyderabad/Secunderabad, 27 Sep 2026 | All levels | 0 years | 3 years |
|---|---|---|---|
| Listings matching “VAPT” | 537 | 26 | 168 |
| Of those, IT & Information Security | 201 | 7 | 63 |
| IT Security role category | 154 | 6 | 52 |
| Unpaid internships in the set | 4 | 4 | 1 |
| Work from office | 483 | 26 | 161 |
So the honest verdict on the money. If you are picking a course because you expect it to hand you one of seven fresher openings, no fee is good value. If you are picking one because you want six months of supervised practice, three or four reviewed reports, and a portfolio that survives a technical round two years from now, then the difference between ₹12,000 and ₹35,000 stops being the interesting question.
What Should You Verify Before You Pay Anything?
Get six things in writing before any payment: total fee inclusive of GST, the number of live instructor hours, who teaches the batch, what happens to lab access after it ends, whether an exam voucher is included, and the refund position if you drop out. A provider that will not put those in writing is answering you already.
Two further checks cost you nothing and caught real problems on this SERP. Look at the advertised batch date: one page was still promoting a 25 May 2026 start when we read it in late September. And look at where the star rating comes from — a widget reading 4.9 from 48,765 reviews is a site-wide figure across every course a company sells in every city, not a verdict on the Hyderabad VAPT batch you are considering.
1. Total, inclusive of GST
One number, on paper or WhatsApp. “Plus taxes” on an 18% base is ₹6,300 on a ₹35,000 fee.
2. Live instructor hours
Not “3 months”. Hours, and how they split between lecture and supervised lab.
3. Who teaches your batch
By name, with what they test professionally. Meet them in the demo, not a counsellor.
4. Lab access after the course
Ask the end date, in writing. Most cloud ranges switch off with the batch.
5. Exam voucher: in or out?
If bundled, ask which exam and whether a retake is covered. If not, budget it yourself.
6. Refund position
What you get back if you leave in week two. Silence here is the answer you should act on.

What Does the AimNxt VAPT & Ethical Hacking Programme Cover?
The AimNxt VAPT and Ethical Hacking programme runs four months across fifteen sequenced modules, from Networking Fundamentals & Lab Setup through Report Writing & Professional Skills, and closes with a Capstone Project that is a full penetration testing engagement. Twelve tools are taught inside the module that uses them.
We publish the module list because scope, not price, is what you are really comparing. One Hyderabad page on this SERP advertises seven modules; the list below is fifteen plus a capstone, and every name is copied exactly from the programme curriculum.
| # | Module (exact name) | What it puts in your hands |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | Networking Fundamentals & Lab Setup | OSI and TCP/IP, subnetting, protocol analysis, port scanning, network mapping — Wireshark, Nmap, Netdiscover, Kali Linux |
| 02 | Linux for Hackers | Command line, permissions and users, process and network monitoring, Bash scripting, Linux privilege escalation |
| 03 | Windows Internals & Active Directory | Windows security components, PowerShell for testing, AD setup, authentication, privilege escalation — Mimikatz, Hashcat, PowerView |

| — | Capstone Project | A full engagement: recon and target mapping, vulnerability identification, exploitation and privilege escalation, post-exploitation, then a professional report and presentation |
If you are still deciding which cluster to enter rather than which fee to pay, the honest comparison sits next door: our guide to the best ethical hacking and VAPT training institutes in Hyderabad ships a 12-point evaluation method instead of a ranking, and our VAPT tools guide ranks the toolchain by what Hyderabad job listings actually name.
Why Does This Page Not Publish AimNxt’s Fee?
AimNxt does not publish course fees in blog posts, because the honest number depends on the mode you choose — classroom at KPHB, live online, or hybrid — and on the batch format, and a headline figure with a line through it tells you nothing useful. Ask for it in the Free Live Demo Session.
That is a deliberate policy, not a sales tactic, and you are entitled to hold us to the same standard this page applies to everyone else. So: ask for the total inclusive of GST, ask for the live instructor hour count, ask who teaches the batch, and ask what happens to your lab access in month five — the same four questions we would want you asking before you commit to the four-month VAPT & Ethical Hacking programme in Hyderabad or to anyone else’s. You should get all four in writing in one message. If any provider, us included, will not do that, walk.
What the Job Interview Guarantee program is, exactly
The AimNxt Job Interview Guarantee program guarantees interview opportunities through the hiring-partner network — not a job offer, not a placement, and not a salary. Whether you convert an interview depends on your skills, your reports and your performance on the day. Anyone promising more than that on a fees page is telling you something about themselves.
