Ask what a SOC analyst course costs in Hyderabad and every page you land on answers with its own price. That is not the same as answering the question. What you actually want is the range across the city, what sits behind the gap between the cheapest and the dearest, and whether the number on the page is the number you end up paying.
So we went and read them. On 14 September 2026 we pulled the published fees from every SOC analyst provider ranking for this query in Hyderabad and put them in one table, with dates, so you can check us. We run a SOC programme at KPHB ourselves — treat us as an interested party and verify everything below.
How Much Does a SOC Analyst Course Cost in Hyderabad?
Published SOC analyst course fees in Hyderabad ran from ₹9,999 for recorded self-paced video to ₹45,000 for classroom training when we read institute websites on 14 September 2026. Most live programmes cluster between ₹22,000 and ₹32,000, and several quote that figure before 18 percent GST is added.
That band is wide because the label “SOC analyst course” covers two completely different products. At the bottom you are buying recorded video and a WhatsApp group. At the top you are buying a scheduled seat in a room with a trainer and a login to a SIEM. Comparing the two on price alone tells you nothing useful, which is the whole problem with this search.
What Are Hyderabad Institutes Actually Charging in 2026?
Nine providers serving Hyderabad publish a SOC analyst fee, and the spread splits cleanly by delivery mode: around ₹10,000 for recorded video, ₹22,000 to ₹25,000 for live online, and ₹30,000 to ₹45,000 for classroom. Skillogic separately states a general market band of ₹20,000 to ₹60,000 for the city.
| Provider | Published fee | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Brolly Academy | ₹9,999 | Recorded self-paced video, lifetime access |
| Hacker School | ₹22,000 + GST | Online SOC analyst course |
| Indian Cyber Security Solutions | ₹22,600 + 18% GST | 40 hours across 3 months, classroom or live online |
| Brolly Academy | ₹24,999 | Live online 3 months, daily recordings |
| WebAsha Technologies | ₹25,000 + taxes | AI-focused SOC analyst programme |
| SOC Masters | from ₹25,000 | Stated as a starting figure, not a fixed price |
| Cyber Security Academy | ₹25,000 online / ₹32,000 classroom | Page dated 5 September 2026 |
| Brolly Academy | ₹29,999 | Classroom 3 months, batch capped at 15 |
| Texial | ₹45,000 | 2 months, 20+ modules |
| InfosecTrain | Not published | 48-hour live instructor-led SOC analyst training |
| AimNxt | Not published online | 10 modules, ~3 months, KPHB campus — quoted in the free demo |
Sources: each provider’s own website, read 14 September 2026 — Brolly Academy and Indian Cyber Security Solutions publish the fullest breakdowns. Prices change without notice and promotional pricing is common, so confirm the current figure with the institute before you plan around it. This is a snapshot of what was published on one day, not a rate card.
Two things stand out once the numbers sit side by side. First, the classroom premium is real and consistent — roughly ₹5,000 to ₹7,000 over the same institute’s online price. Second, three of the providers quote tax separately, so a ₹22,600 course is a ₹26,668 course by the time you pay it. That is not a trick; it is just easy to miss when you are comparing headline numbers in a spreadsheet.
Why Does the Same Course Cost ₹9,999 Here and ₹45,000 There?
The gap is almost entirely live instruction and lab access, not syllabus. A ₹9,999 course is video you watch alone; a ₹30,000 classroom course buys scheduled hours with a trainer who answers your question at the moment you are stuck, and your own login to a SIEM. You are paying for contact time, not content.
Syllabus is close to free now. The MITRE ATT&CK matrix, the OWASP Top 10 and Windows event IDs are all documented publicly, and any institute can list them. What nobody can put on a web page is a trainer who has worked SOC shifts telling you why the alert you just closed was actually worth escalating.
Recorded, ~₹10,000
Good as a supplement or a refresher. You get content and no accountability. Completion rates for self-paced video are poor for a reason.
Live online, ~₹25,000
Works well if you get an individual lab login. Works badly if the SIEM only ever appears on the trainer’s shared screen.
Classroom, ₹30,000+
Fixed timings, a physical lab and peers to work alongside. The premium buys attendance pressure as much as it buys teaching.
What Is the Real Total Cost, Including the Certification?
The advertised training fee is rarely the whole bill. Add 18 percent GST wherever the institute quotes tax separately, then the certification exam, which the certification body bills you directly and no institute can include. Microsoft’s SC-200 also expires after 12 months unless you renew it, though the renewal assessment itself is free.
Institutes are not hiding this. It is simply that a training fee and a certification fee are two different transactions with two different companies, and the second one only becomes visible after you have paid the first. Budget for all of it up front:
Certification body detail from Microsoft Learn, Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200), read 14 September 2026: exam price varies by the country the exam is proctored in, and the certification is valid for 12 months with a free online renewal assessment. Cisco, CompTIA, EC-Council and Microsoft are the certification bodies; AimNxt is an independent training provider that prepares you for their exams and issues its own certificate of completion.
Which certification is worth paying for is a separate decision from which course to buy, and we have gone through the options in detail in our comparison of SOC analyst certifications — CySA+, EC-Council CSA, BTL1 and Cisco CyberOps do not cost the same and do not carry the same weight with Hyderabad employers.
How Long Is a SOC Analyst Course in Hyderabad?
SOC analyst courses in Hyderabad run two to four months, but the number that decides value is instructor-led hours, not calendar months. Indian Cyber Security Solutions publishes 40 hours spread across three months. InfosecTrain publishes 48 hours. Texial advertises two months. AimNxt runs ten modules over roughly three months.
Notice how little those months tell you. Forty hours over three months is two hours twice a week, which suits somebody working full time and is close to useless if you wanted an intensive. The same three-month label can hide 40 hours or 120. Ask for the hour count, and ask separately how many of those hours you spend inside a SIEM rather than looking at slides about one.
What Should a SOC Analyst Fee Actually Buy You?
A SOC analyst fee should buy a sequence, not a topic list: networking and security fundamentals first, then attack techniques and detection frameworks, then log analysis, then hands-on SIEM and EDR work, and interview preparation at the end. The AimNxt SOC Analyst L1 & L2 curriculum runs exactly ten modules in that order.
We print it in full because it gives you something concrete to hold any other quote against. If an institute cannot hand you its equivalent before you pay, the fee is not the thing you should be worried about.
| Module | Name | What it builds |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | Networking Concepts | OSI and TCP/IP models, IP addressing, ports and protocols, firewalls, VPNs |
| 02 | Introduction to Cybersecurity | SOC roles, CIA triad, threat actors, cryptography fundamentals |
| 03 | Cyber Attacks | DDoS, brute force, SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, OWASP Top 10 |
| 04 | Authentication & Threats | Zero trust, AAA, defence in depth |
| 05 | Frameworks & Analysis | Cyber Kill Chain, Incident Response Life Cycle, MITRE ATT&CK |
| 06 | Security Analysis | Static and dynamic malware analysis, phishing and URL analysis |
| 07 | Log Analysis | Windows Event IDs, events vs alerts vs incidents, indicators of compromise |
| 08 | SIEM & EDR Architecture | Correlating events, building queries, triaging alerts, endpoint investigation |
| 09 | Security Teams & MISC Concepts | Red, blue and purple teams, vulnerability assessment, pen testing concepts |
| 10 | Lab & Practical Exercises | Nmap, Wireshark, Splunk, Seceon, attack simulation, written exam, mock interviews |

How Do You Compare Two Fees That Are Not Comparable?
Divide the total payable, tax included, by the number of instructor-led hours. A ₹25,000 course delivered in 40 hours costs ₹625 an hour; the same ₹25,000 across 90 hours costs ₹278. That single division tells you more than any brochure, and it is the only figure that makes two different institutes comparable.
The calculator below does the arithmetic and puts your number against the published Hyderabad examples above. Nothing is saved, stored or sent anywhere — it runs entirely in your browser.

A comparison aid, not a verdict. Cost per hour says nothing about whether those hours are any good — a cheap hour spent watching somebody else drive a SIEM is worth less than an expensive hour spent driving it yourself.
Is a SOC Analyst Course in Hyderabad Worth the Money?
AmbitionBox reported a typical SOC Analyst salary range in Hyderabad of ₹5.2 lakh to ₹5.7 lakh a year at one to five years of experience, drawn from 3,200 employee reports, when we read it on 14 September 2026. Set against a ₹25,000 to ₹45,000 course fee the arithmetic is favourable, but these are market estimates, not guarantees.
| Measure | Figure | Read it as |
|---|---|---|
| Typical range, Hyderabad | ₹5.2 L – ₹5.7 L / year | 1–5 years marked high confidence on the page |
| Sample size | 3,200 Hyderabad reports | Page updated 10 September 2026 |
| Bengaluru, same role | ₹5.2 L – ₹5.7 L / year | Identical from 4,300 reports |
| Two-year trend | 2% fall in the average | AmbitionBox’s own note, 2024 to 2026 |
Source: AmbitionBox, SOC Analyst salaries in Hyderabad, read 14 September 2026. Self-reported data, so read it as a range rather than a rate card. Market estimates, not guarantees — actual pay depends on your experience, the employer, the shift pattern and how you perform in the interview. Our full SOC analyst salary breakdown for India compares this against other cities and experience levels.
Two details in that table are worth pausing on. Hyderabad and Bengaluru pay the same band for this role, which removes the usual argument for relocating. And the average has fallen about 2 percent over two years, so nobody should budget for a course on the assumption that entry-level SOC pay is climbing.
The honest caveat is that the course fee is the small number in this equation. The expensive part of a career switch is the three months, and the risk is not that you pay ₹30,000 for a bad course — it is that you spend a quarter of a year on one and come out unable to explain a Windows 4625 log to an interviewer. That is what the hour count and the lab access are actually protecting you from.
Does a Higher Fee Mean Better Placement Support?
No. Fee and placement outcome are not correlated in Hyderabad, because no institute at any price controls an employer’s hiring decision. Read “100 percent placement” as marketing whatever it costs. What an institute can genuinely commit to in writing is interview opportunities, resume support and mock interview practice.
The one fee-related question worth asking is whether placement support is bundled or sold separately, because a handful of programmes price an internship or a placement track as an add-on and it does not appear in the headline number. Ask directly: is the interview support included in this fee, or is it another line item later?
Our own commitment, stated precisely so you can hold us to the wording: the AimNxt Job Interview Guarantee programme guarantees interview opportunities through our hiring-partner network until you are placement-ready. It does not guarantee a job offer, a placement or any salary — that depends on your skills and how you perform in the interview. If another institute’s wording is looser than that, ask them to tighten it before you pay.
What Does AimNxt Charge for SOC Analyst Training in KPHB?
AimNxt does not publish its SOC Analyst L1 & L2 fee on the website. The figure moves with the batch and the mode you choose — classroom at the KPHB 5th Phase campus in Kukatpally, live online, or hybrid — so you get the total in writing during the Free Live Demo Session, before any payment is discussed.
That is a fair thing to be sceptical about, and there is a reasonable version of the objection: an unpublished price makes comparison harder. So here is the trade. Come to the demo, ask for the total including tax, ask whether the certification exam is inside or outside that number, and ask for the instructor-led hour count. Put all three in the calculator above alongside whichever other institute you are considering. If we do not compare well on your numbers, you will have found that out for the cost of an hour.
What we will show you in that hour: the ten modules above, the lab, and the tools the curriculum names — Nmap, Wireshark, Splunk and Seceon. What we will not do is quote a placement percentage or a salary, because we cannot stand behind either. If you are still deciding whether the role suits you, start with how to become a SOC analyst in India, then read how to compare SOC analyst institutes in Hyderabad before you shortlist anybody on price. The full SOC Analyst L1 & L2 course page has the batch details.
